I have spent a lot of time lately discovering what it takes to be “happy.” I am also discovering all the possibilities that come with that as well. What I have learned is that we can only experience one of two things. One being negativity (sadness, anger, frustration, etc). Or the other being positivity (joy, laughter, excitement, etc).
For years not only did I experience mainly negativity, but I thought that way too. However, I learned to retrain my mind, and the way that I think. I was purposely only focusing on positivity. That meant that I had to think about what I do have. I have goals. Which, I do believe that I will reach these goals. I look at those goals everyday, because I wrote them down and put it somewhere that I can see it every single day. Since doing that, my life has changed SO MUCH!
When I thought negativity all the time, I was attracting just that. Negativity. When I “thought” bad things were going to happen, they did. BUT, when I CHOSE to trust and believe that positive would happen instead, it has literally been just that. Positive. Positive situations. Positive people. Positive vibes. Positive everything. Positive possibilities. I have attracted so so much positive.
I do not choose to let negativity win, nor do I let it outweigh the good that’s truly happening in my life. Because I choose to think positive, be positive, live positively, that’s what I have been attracting.
If you live, think, and believe negativity, I believe that’s how life stays for us. It did for me anyway. We become what we attract. When I was negative all the time not only was I not fun to be around, my situations were negative to. I practically invited only that into my life.
NOW, when negative comes my way (such as Bill’s, people, situations, etc.) I chose to say “it will be ok, I will pay this off. I’ll be great financially. I am still going to choose to love people, and be kind. Because that is who I AM and that is who I am choosing to be. I am choosing to believe good is there. And good will come always. Since doing that. It has changed my life so much. People are mean, evil exists, but that does not mean that’s who I have to be too. Nor do I have to let others influence my behavior or my happiness anymore. I’m happy. I’m healthy. All is SO great, and all WILL be great.
By putting letters up to remind myself how thankful I am. I Intentionally created a way to help myself create a routine (part of retraining how I thought). Which eventually it stuck to where I just knew how to do it every day. I still have my reminders hanging all over my house, my screen saver, areas where I WILL SEE THEM….so that no matter what I never forget nor will I have time to think negatively. I constantly stop what I’m doing through out my day now, to appreciate all that I do have and what I’m so thankful for. I do believe I will accomplish my goals. I already have, and I know that I WILL finish the rest of my goals as well. I do NOT focus on the bad, the past, OR the negative because it only took away from me and my life.
Everything will be ok if we believe. I just had to share this thought.
